what we do

SCRIP, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax exempt organization that provides professional development and counseling services for marginalized individuals. In creating a better life for these individuals, we bring healing to the local community. We partner with higher education institutions, social service agencies, employment agencies, and community based organizations to provide comprehensive services for participants.

Education

We provide first class training and professional development sessions, while reducing the financial strain on the individual and their families. Graduates earn industry recognized credentials.

Charitable

We accept clothing and charitable donations to provide participants apparel for job interviews, and partner with local food pantries to support the basic needs of our participants.

Counseling

Each participant will understand how their past has influenced their present and identify their strengths, as they are empowered to support themselves, their families, and communities.

Community Service

Reciprocity is a goal for SCRIP. Our participants are required to give back and support other marginalized individuals. We seek to be positively and actively involved in the community.
